The 33 drive shaft — the SAE "BB" straight shaft — is listed as an available combination on the S3 flange, while the standard combination of that flange is the 04 SAE "B" spline: 05 and 33 are the two available combinations on this displacement, and they are carried on the same flange face as the standard shaft, so the flange code on its own does not fix the coupling.
